Terms of Use

Using CVXone

These Terms describe the current CVXone tools and the responsibilities associated with using them. CVXone is independently operated by its owner under the public name CVXone.

Please read these Terms alongside the Privacy Policy, which explains the current handling of browser-local information and contact correspondence.

CVXone is publicly available at www.cvxone.com. These descriptions concern the current product, rather than a promise that every feature will remain available unchanged.

What the service provides

CVXone helps you create and edit a Career Profile, preview CVs using available templates, write a cover letter and organize job application preparation.

Your saved work is held in your browser. There is no account, password system, cloud document synchronization or server-side career-document database implemented.

CV previews use your saved Career Profile and selected template. Cover Letters are separate drafts. Job Application records do not store independent CV or letter snapshots.

Optional AI assistance can suggest wording improvements to a cover-letter body when the service is available. Fixed editing instructions ask it to preserve language, meaning and supplied facts; this does not verify facts or guarantee accuracy. Accepting a suggestion changes the unsaved body; Save is a separate action.

Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you enter and for reviewing documents before printing, sharing or submitting them.

Check names, contact details, dates, qualifications, employment history, recipient information and other factual statements. Selecting a template or viewing a preview does not verify those facts.

Only enter information and use photos or other content that you are entitled to use. Respect other people’s privacy and rights when entering recipient, employer or other third-party information.

Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

People of different ages may use career-document tools. Younger users should involve a parent or guardian where appropriate. Requirements concerning permission or capacity to use a service may depend on applicable law; these Terms do not impose a general 18+ restriction.

AI suggestions may be inaccurate or change meaning. Review facts and wording before explicitly accepting a suggestion, then save separately if wanted. The Privacy Policy explains processing through CVXone’s server, Cloudflare Workers and OpenAI. Service availability is not guaranteed.

Documents and career outcomes

CVXone provides editing and presentation tools. It does not assess or confirm the truth of your experience or qualifications.

You remain responsible for the final document and for deciding whether it is suitable for a particular employer, institution or opportunity.

CVXone does not submit job applications, email employers or apply on your behalf. Employer and recruiter decisions are outside its control.

Using CVXone does not guarantee an interview, employment or any particular result from an applicant tracking system. Check the recipient’s requirements and review the exported document before using it.

Local storage and exports

Save your work explicitly when you want it stored. Unsaved-navigation warnings and temporary in-memory draft recovery are safeguards, not guarantees against loss.

Browser-local records can be lost through cleared site data, private-browsing behavior, browser eviction, storage failure, device loss or other changes. There is no cloud copy or device synchronization supplied by the current product.

Browser print / Save as PDF uses your browser’s print dialog. Output can depend on browser settings, fonts, paper size, headers and footers. Review the resulting file or printout.

Exports are separate files under your control. CVXone does not currently provide structured backup/import that can restore editor data from a PDF.

Acceptable use and rights

Use CVXone lawfully and respect the rights of others.

Do not use the tools to create unlawful or deceptive material, interfere with their operation or attempt unauthorized access to systems or information.

You remain responsible for the content you enter. Entering content does not by itself transfer ownership of that content to CVXone.

The site’s code, design and other materials may be protected by intellectual-property rights. Using the tools does not grant rights to reproduce or distribute site materials beyond permissions provided by their applicable licenses or law.

External services

External websites and services have their own terms and information-handling practices.

CVXone does not control an employer website, an email service, your chosen print destination or a service to which you send an exported document. Review those services before sharing information with them.

Choosing Improve with AI sends your current cover-letter body and selected document language through CVXone’s Cloudflare Workers to OpenAI for a wording suggestion. This includes unsaved text and any personal information in the body. Review the suggestion before accepting it.

Availability, pricing and changes

The current service has no payment or subscription handling. This is not a promise of permanent free access.

Features, availability and pricing may change. Any future payment or subscription offering would need its own accurate terms and implementation.

Do not rely on the current tools as your only means of retaining important information. CVXone does not promise uninterrupted availability or that every browser or device will behave identically.

The product limitations described in these Terms do not determine or remove rights that may apply under law.

Questions or concerns about using CVXone can be raised through the Contact page. These Terms do not specify a governing-law jurisdiction or dispute forum.

Updates and contact

These Terms will be reviewed when the service changes. Published versions will identify their effective or updated date.

Contact cvxone1@gmail.com with questions. Do not send passwords, financial information, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information.
